A few weeks ago I went to the most magical place in the world, DISNEYLAND!!! I could not contain my excitement about going, I hadn’t been in 12 years and so I was fully ready to go all out while I was there! And now I’m here to tell you all the tips and tricks that I learned while I was there! PLUS I am doing a Disneyland giveaway that you don’t want to miss! Head over to my Instagram to learn more! If you can, use the single rider lines!
Not all of the rides offer single rider lines, but on the ones that do, for sure take advantage of it!! I went with family and there was 6 of us! Instead of waiting hours in line we decided to go in the single rider lines and it saved us SO much time! We were able to ride the ride in around 10 mins or less by doing this! And would go on the ride multiple times in a row! You may not get to ride with your group, but more times than not at least two of us were in the same car or sitting next to each other! By doing this we were able to ride basically all the rides that we wanted to because it allowed us not to waste too much time waiting in line.

Download the Disneyland App!
The Disneyland App has so many great features! You can order food and pick it up without having to wait in lines, it has a map with wait times for each attraction and you can also get access to the MaxPass. The best part about it was probably having our fast passes linked straight to our phones! I am the queen of losing things so not having to hold on to the paper fast passes was a dream!

Research the foods you want to try before you get there!
Okay, I’m just going to say it. I probably spent WAY too much on food at Disneyland but to me it was entirely worth it. I probably ate my body weight in popcorn, dole whips and churros, whoops! I did some research before going and tried all the typical things plus more! I highly recommend the street tacos from Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill in Pacific Warf at California Adventure, I literally ate them every day! Also their Mango Auga Fresca was insane good! The skewers from Bengal Barbecue were also super yummy. Some things I found that were overrated were the Minnie Raspberry Macaroons from and the turkey legs. And the one place I wish I would’ve gone but didn’t make it to was Cafe New Orleans, you need a reservation so just be sure to make one!

Utilize fast passes!
First things first when you get into the park, fast passes. We would go and get fast passes for the rides we knew would be popular right when we got there and then use the single rider lines to go on other rides while we waited for our assigned time to come. We actually ended up doing the single rider lines way more than we used the fast passes, but the fast passes also allowed us to save time and helped us to ride everything that we wanted to throughout the day! Just make sure you are keeping tabs on the time because you are only allowed to use it during certain time slots and are only allowed to get a second fast pass after a specific time.

If you get the chance to go to Mickey’s Halloween Party, DO IT!
Okay, maybe you don’t want to pay the extra $115 for an additional ticket to Mickey’s Halloween Party. But I am here to tell you it is WORTH it! They close the park early and only allow those with the event tickets into the park! Costumes are welcome and there is even trick or treating throughout the park which was super fun! My inner child was so pumped about it. The best part about this is there were absolutely NO lines. We got on every single ride multiple times and only had to wait 5-10 minutes to do so. We rode Big Thunder Mountain probably 8 times, Indiana Jones a few times and Pirates of the Caribbean a couple of times, plus more! This is something I will be going to every year now!

I love all of your advice! I’ve never been to disney land, only to Disney World. My kyle and i are dying to visit DL next year! The single rider line was always what we did at DW such a great way to save so much time! And that halloween paRty sounds awesome! Maybe next year for us too!

My favorite thing about disneyland is the food!!! My husband and i always spend way too much on food when we go. One time we decided that every time we saw a churro stand, we’d go buy a churro and chow down on it. Lets just say.. we ate a lot of churros that day haha.

These tips are all right on point! The food is def my favorite part of DISNEYLAND, but unless you do your RESEARCH then youre going to spend money on food thaT Might not be worth it. But when You find the HiddEn Gem food places, thats the best!

My family has been going to disneyland forever and has even had annual passes a few times- my favorite part right now is the new guarDians of the galaxy ride! But a classic favoeite of mine is always riding pirates of the caribbean in the hot afternoon during the summer. Its always a nice cool break (and nap time for kiddos!)

My favorite part about disney with sharing it with my two chiLdren and how at the same time i feel like a child mySelf. Watching the disney magic through my now 3 year olds Eyes makes The trip, expenses, travel…Etc completeltly worhth it. (she is finally 40” so this opens up so many rides for her to go on with us. The nostalga i feel wHen im there makes me heArt sing. I feel like a little kid again. I just love disneyland! No matter the weather, crowds, long lines…..disneyland is the happiest place on earth!

I love love love disneyland. My fav Thing about disney is that everyone is so happy and joyful there!!! That’s the repuTation it sets for itself and is the kinda of mood it attracts!!! It’s such a magical place where you can be able to get away fRom the weight of the world and all your anxieties and let go for some time!!!! I think that’s such a Cool thing to be able to have and shouLdnt take for granted setting aside time for yourSelf to just breathe and relax and have some fun! I would do anything to be able to go to disney right now! It would be so worth it!!!!!

i completely agree with all these disneyland tips! my favorite part about disneyland is the feeling it gives me. i love walking through the ticket line and instantly being filled with happiness! it’s such a positive and happy enviornment to be in and i love disneyland with my whole heart! some of my very best childhood memories have taken place there.

My favorite part about disneyland is the feeling and the atmosphere. I have had some of my favorite best childhood memories walking down main street and noticing all the different smells with my mickey mouse ears on and not a care in the world. I love this, what a fun giveaway! So jealous you got to go to mickey’s Halloween party, I have missed it the last two years. My husband and I went after both my MISCARRIAGES and failed fertility treatments. We were pass holders last year and it was the best thing ever. It is such a happy place, for a moment our sadness and stress would be gone. all the Churros and treats help too 😂😂
