You Are Enough.

If you’ve ever felt like you aren’t good enough, you aren’t alone in feeling that way. We live in a world where people feel the need to compete. Being a photographer, model and blogger sometimes the feeling of not being good enough can become overwhelming. Especially in a community where the saturation of all three of those categories are beyond being countable. Comparison is deadly. It’s almost impossible not to compare yourself to others and things like how many followers they have, how much money they make, how skilled they are in certain concepts, etc. Sometimes I view other peoples work and what they have going on in their lives and I think to myself, ‘Why can’t I have that? ‘I’ll never be that good.’ If you’ve had similar thoughts I’m here to tell you to stop thinking these things! Each person has their own dreams and talents and your dreams and talents mean just as much as the person you compare yourself with. Let me remind you of this, I want you to know that you are beautiful, you are strong, you have talent that matters, you are more than enough. You deserve to achieve all of your dreams. Do not ever short change yourself of knowing you are enough. It may not mean much but you are enough to me.

I want to challenge all of you to do something. Instead of comparing yourself to others and thinking that you are not enough, I want you to believe in yourself. Believe in your dreams. Believe that you are enough. But heres the catch, I also want to challenge you to embrace others talents, support others, dream with them, be inspired by those standing next to you in the world. Because they are enough to.

The dress featured in the video and photos is from a local blogger and designer you’ve probably all heard of named Rachel Parcell of Pink Peonies. She had a dream to design a line and followed dream and I felt inspired by it which in turn lead to this post and an adventure in Park City. I feel so confident in it and it’s by far my very favorite dress!
