Wow can you believe that it’s already 2017?!

I feel like 2016 flew by! I accomplished most of last years resolutions and so much more.

2016 was a year of growth for me. There were hardships with faith, relationships, family and friendships, but with those hardships I grew stronger. I met some amazing new friends and so many different creative souls. My testimony grew 10 fold. I’ve grown closer with my siblings and younger cousins. And last but not least I finally figured out how to be content while being single and that whole concept has been pretty awesome. I learned how to stand for nothing less than I deserve and it’s made life so much easier! It’s nice being to a point in my life where I am completely happy on my own and if a relationship happens to come along it’d just be an added bonus.

There are four ways to my heart: Traveling, Photoshoots, Food and Concerts! 2016 had a ton of all four!

Traveling wise I got the opportunity to visit:

-Los Angeles, California

-San Diego, California

-Kauai, Hawaii

-San Francisco, California

-Phoenix, Arizona

-Las Vegas, Nevada

-Park City/Heber, Utah

-Sedona, Arizona

-Antelope Island, Utah

-St. George, Utah

In 2017 I’ll be going to Greece and I cannot wait!

Photoshoot wise I got the opportunity to:

-Walk in Utah Fashion Week (Which I’ll hopefully be doing in 2017 as well!)

-Model for dress designer Rachel Elizabeth Designs

-Model for Bohme Boutique

-Model for a bunch of amazing photographers and with some awesome fellow models!

-Photograph back to back to back weddings.

-Photograph multiple events

-Photograph two birth stories

-Photograph incredible returning clients as well as incredible new clients

-Even got a photography studio

Food wise I got the opportunity to:

-Try new foods and restaurants while traveling

-Started a list of trying every restaurant that’s on center street in Provo

-Discovered new restaurants and bakeries in Salt Lake City

-Cooked a bunch at home and tried a million new recipes

-Hosted my first annual Friendsgiving which was so much fun

Concert wise I got the opportunity to see:

-Shawn Mendez

-Daya

-Alessia Cara

-Good Charlotte

-Fall Out Boy

-Wiz Kalifa

-DNCE

-The Lumineers

-Mumford & Sons

-James the Mormon

-Tessa Barton & Crew

& too many more to count. (I know, I have an addiction to concerts…)

I am looking forward to 2017 and what it will bring! I have thought of a few goals and cannot wait to work towards achieving them!

Here’s some goals I’ve come up with so far:

-Gain 10 lbs

-Graduate with my Health Administration Degree

-Try every restaurant on Provo Center street

-Save $12k

-Attend the temple weekly

-Find a balance between being open about getting to know the people I go on dates with while also being content with the fact that I’m 100% okay with being single.

-Travel to Chicago, Big Sur & Oregon

-Go on a cruise

-Photograph an out of state wedding

-Go to a Drake concert

-Blog weekly

-Use everything I learned in 2016 to help me become a better person

This whole list seems a bit daunting but I know anything is possible! What are some of your favorite accomplishments from 2016? What are your goals for 2017?

My favorite thing about 2016 was checking San Francisco off of my bucket list just a few weeks ago! I’ll be blogging more about this trip next week!

Xoxo,

Lex
