Wow it’s been a minute! Life of Lex has been on the back burner and I almost deleted my website completely. There is a reason for that, which I will get into the nitty gritty details on why at a later date. But for now I’ll just say this, some circumstances happened in my life that put me into a place where absolutely nothing inspired me and I couldn’t even get myself to write it out. But ultimately I decided that I wasn’t going to allow certain situations to take away something that I have been passionate about for over a decade! 

It’s crazy to think that I’ve been pouring my life out into blog posts for over a decade! If you’ve been here since the beginning I am so grateful and if you’re just discovering my blog, welcome! Thinking about it is somewhat funny to me. I’ve grown so much as a person alongside my blog and it’s really neat to look back on how far it’s come and I’m excited where it has the potential to go!

Life of Lex has some fun things coming and I cannot wait to share with all of you! I want Life of Lex to be a place where people can come for inspiration, motivation and more! If you don’t already know, I started Life Of Lex as a place to be an everyday missionary, but quickly realized that not everyone is religious or they may not relate only religious topics and so I came to the conclusion that bottom line I wanted my main goal to be plain and simple: Inspiring others.

My motto has been ‘Aspire To Inspire’ for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had this burning desire to do my best to inspire others no matter what I might be doing within my life. There are so many people throughout my life that have inspired me and I want to be able to do that for others, even if it’s in a small way. I want to impact peoples lives like others have impacted mine. To me, inspiring someone even in a small way, carries SO much weight-regardless of if they are the ones inspiring me or I am the one inspiring them. You never know how your actions might impact someone and how those actions might spark a light within them. Thinking about it gives me chills! Isn’t is so neat that we have the capability to inspire others and be inspired? I love it. 

Which leads me to something exciting! I have been so nervous to announce this because I really want it to resonate with people! But HERE WE GO! Story time: I met cute Delilah of Dahlia Day at a galantines night and for the first time in months I was INSPIRED. I could not stop thinking about it. She owns a company that creates cute embroidered crews and tees! I knew immediately I was going to place a custom order from her with my forever lifetime motto on it.
