As of Saturday I will be a college graduate…..let’s say that again slowly, college graduate. WHAT? Crazy. I will be graduating with my degree in Healthcare Administration, which is a fancy way of saying I am qualified to manage a doctors office or department within a hospital. So this is what growing up feels like. I’ve worked hard to get where I am, with some twists and turns along the way. I completely switched my major from my passion of nursing into healthcare administration and discovered that I can create ideas that cultivate change within the healthcare industry.
PLOT TWIST
I am graduating from college, but I have an announcement to make….
(Technically this was announced at my exclusive relaunch party, but my friends are good at keeping secrets. I will be doing a post about the party next week, but onto the juicy stuff.)
While I have worked hard to obtain my degree, done countless all nighters of homework, written more papers than I can count I decided that I want to do something that absolutely terrifies me.
I am officially announcing that I will be pursing blogging and photography FULL time. I have wanted to go after this dream of mine for years now and I am finally choosing to do it. It is where my passion is at and I’m taking a huge leap of faith going for my dreams.
Here’s to being a boss lady for the first time in my life. I am incredibly grateful and excited for what’s going to happen next. I cannot wait to create stronger relationships with the companies that I will work with and the clients I will work for. I am so appreciative of all of the companies, clients and friends that have all taken the time to support me in my passion and dream which ultimately inspired me to pursue all of this full time. So if you want to book a shoot, if you want to work together or if you have questions please feel free to send me an email or hit the contact button!
But don’t think for a second that I didn’t appreciate all of my hard work put into my degree. I am so happy about all the education I received and I definitely didn’t pass up an opportunity to take graduation photos in proper healthcare administrator attire, a pantsuit!
I am over the moon about this adventure and open to all the tips and tricks! So if you have any send them my way!
